In these challenging and uncertain times, it is all too easy to get caught up in collective fear and anxiety. Many people's lives have become immensely difficult and stressful. Mindfulness teaches us to find a sense of stillness and stability in the midst of even the most difficult of circumstances. It enables us to make wiser choices about how we can respond intelligently to this crisis, rather than being blown away by it.
Free Online Mindfulness sessions
Everyone is welcome, and no previous experience is required.
Mondays 10.30-11.30am.
Thursday 7.00-8.00pm.
Free Introduction to Mindfulness course
This consists of four one hour sessions over a four week period
We will talk about what mindfulness means, and think about how it can be used to support us in our lives. Simple mindfulness practices will be introduced, and we will explore strategies for dealing with stressful situations.
Starting Monday 22nd February 7-8pm.
The sessions take place on Zoom.
The course includes downloadable practices and handouts.
